Holy Buckets of Flood Water!!!

We woke up in a DISASTER zone!!! Eleven inches of rain in less than 24 hours caused major flooding on the Bad River Reservation.

The bridge over Denomie Creek sustained heavy damage. The Bad River Lodge and Casino was cut off from the Tribal Administration building and the rest of new Odanah.

U.S. Highway 2 was closed because of standing water.

Old Odanah was floating under waist-deep floodwaters.
