Week 1, Day Three: Getting Wet and Wild!

Today our budding filmmakers documented another youth group, Bad River Youth Outdoors, learning canoe and kayak paddling techniques in the Kakagon Sloughs. As they perfected their videography techniques, our young producers interviewed instructors and participants and saw the reservation from a new perspective--its incredibly beautiful and fragile waterways that support fish, waterfowl, small mammals, and manoomin--our wild rice. Here's Zoe capturing some of the action and Tim getting a few pointers from Reynaldo, a PhD candidate in the UW School of Education.
